Lion Mascaron Column Fountain with a Round Limestone Basin

A cylindrical column fountain carrying three carved masks. A full lion mascaron faces forward with its spout hole open at the mouth, flanked by two smaller side masks fitted with metal nozzles, all under a moulded drum and a ball finial. The round basin is built in panelled blocks with a rolled coping. The whole piece is under a dense grey lichen crust that has gathered thickest in the carving, which is exactly where an authentic surface shows itself. Suited to courtyards, garden walls, poolside settings and architectural restoration work.
