APF 303 Octagonal Pool Fountain with a Scrolled Capital

The wide octagonal companion to our smaller pillar fountains. Its distinguishing feature is the capital: an eight sided drum carved on the faces with a scrolled foliate relief, sitting on a flared collar above a slim octagonal shaft. Two short iron spouts project from the drum and iron tie bars cross the water. The basin is nearly eight feet across, cut in tall panelled blocks whose faces have weathered a cool grey green while the shaft stayed warmer. Suited to poolside settings, walled courtyards and hospitality projects needing scale without height.
